Angry Need help-cant get donut gasket off!!!!

Hi guys,
Putting on my Buschur downpipe, cant get the freaking donut gasket off ! Am I missing something here? It is a metal gasket, kind of like steel wool, it wont budge, I am just slowly shredding it, could take all day at this pace. Any tips??
Thanks

HAHA.. just use a screw driver and pop it off.. its about 1/4 in thick and goes inside the pipe.. its not a thing gasket...stick the SD inside the pipe and pull down it should pop right out..
The stock o3 pipe is wider than the gasket...

Buschur downpipe uses a flat flange.

Busshur exhaust is diff... There are no flanges other than the Hot side of the turbo... if i rem correctly you just bolt up the Dp with no gasket

Oh... OK... I was wondering because I just got the Ultimate Racing DP and havent gone to install it yet. Is Buschur the only one that does not re-use the donut gasket???

The only purpose for the DG is to keep the smaller Stock DP from moving and leaking.. With 3" ones i dont beleive you can use it?

I took a flat head screw driver and hammer it up in there and pried out the edges all the way around the gasket. Then she came right out. There are some 3" DP's that will allow you to leave it there. RMR being one of them.
