Personally, I will be doing that (02, exhaust manifold, downpipe, turbo hotside) but he was asking about ic piping. You bring up a good point, though.

i dont see anyone coating on downpipe.....
maybe thermo wrap would be good choice for downpipe...but not on ic pipe?

i think thermo wrap w/high temp paint blocks heat better than just thin layer of coating on IC pipe.....
what u guys think ?

i just got the logic 2.5'' aluminum upper and lower ic pipes today ...and it seemslike it has very thin wall and it would get heat soak very easy

If you really want to do it then send it to Swain Tech. They are probably the best around and have the widest range of coatings and knowledge. Swain currently has my pistons and rod bearings.
I have a powder/JetHot coater local to me but turnaround can be up to 3 weeks on JetHot.
I am having him do my oil drain pipe (close to DP), Oil pan and other miscellaneous parts like starter head sheild, and PS pump heatshield.

Hey, thanks timzcat, I didn't even think of that. Didn't know that starter and ps pump had heatshields. Then again, I've only had the darn car about 3 hours now

More parts to coat, yeay!!!
