Smile Just installed Buschur Exhaust......

I got the Magnaflow system with Hi-Flo Cat early this week,

Me and my buddy John from the forums here were able to install this in about 3 hours. All I can say is wow. Looks great, sounds even better and best of all, it has NO HIGHWAY DRONE! Simply perfect transaction from Buschur, I am very very pleased with this purchase.

I delt with Jrod @ Buschur Racing, so if you happen to read this THANKS MAN!
And special thanks to my friend John for helping me install it, without him I would'nt have been able to do anything but look @ it in the box.

I have the 3 inch turbo back from Buschur, Magnaflow, and no cat. The butt dyno is very noticeable, pulls much harder. Its probably the second most noticeable bolt on next to cams from what I read. It was a very straightforward install, it's no where near hitting the oil pan, and is rattle free. It seems to be free of the BS alot of people experience with some of the other exhaust systems out there. My only gripe is that the tip isn't completely centered, I was able to adjust it a good deal with the rear hanger but it still isn't perfect, no big deal at all though, and I would definitely purchase the exhaust again.

I never reset the ECU, but I suppose you could.

Resetting the battery just resets the fuel and timing trims, which the ECU slightly re-adjusts as you drive the car.

Yup... I leave mine for like 10min - 15min.. It isn't totally necessary, but doesn't hurt.

I really like my BR exhaust, however I have one issue which I've already talked to DB about, and now I'd like to hear from some of you.

I don't like how far my exhaust tip sticks out. I have the magnaflow muffler. It seems the muffler will only slide so far on the cat back pipe, it won't go any further. I tried tapping it with a wood block and a hammer, it just won't slide anymore. The tip sticks out about 3/4" - 1" from the bumper, I would prefer it to be flush.

I have pushed it further into the hf cat, but I don't really want to go to far inside.

DB suggested sliding the pipe deeper inside the muffler, but when looking at the inside of the muffler, it's clear there is a lip inside of mine that won't allow the pipe to go any deeper. Anyone else have this problem with the magnaflow?

Mine sticks out a little from the Passenger side but when viewed from the Drivers side it lines up perfect since the bumper is curved. Basically the farther it sticks out the less soot gets deposited on your rear bumper so I like where it is. You could remove the rear muffler section and slice off 1/2" to an 1" so that it slides inside farther. Granted the SS will take a while to cut but a good hacksaw blade should take care of things. Just don't cut off too much and you can still put it back to where it was if you don't slide it in as far.

Good idea...this could be the excuse I have been waiting for to pick up a sawzall. Still curious if others have run into this though.

i noticed my magnaflow muffler lip hit the bar welded on for the hanger. all i had to do was
trim the top of the muffler side to clear that bar and it let the thing slide on another inch or so. lines up great to me.
