I don't like how far my exhaust tip sticks out. I have the magnaflow muffler. It seems the muffler will only slide so far on the cat back pipe, it won't go any further. I tried tapping it with a wood block and a hammer, it just won't slide anymore. The tip sticks out about 3/4" - 1" from the bumper, I would prefer it to be flush.
I have pushed it further into the hf cat, but I don't really want to go to far inside.
DB suggested sliding the pipe deeper inside the muffler, but when looking at the inside of the muffler, it's clear there is a lip inside of mine that won't allow the pipe to go any deeper. Anyone else have this problem with the magnaflow?

is it just mine or do some of you notice that the high flow cat has an arrow that points backwards.. the flanges and piping shows which direction it is clearly meant to go, but the arrow that points which way the exhaust gases are supposed to go point in the wrong direction. i called buschur and they said its ok, it'll work, doesn't matter, but then im wondering, why have the arrows then if it duznt matter? i feel like im gettin shafted here, anyone else??

The arrow for flow has no effect on how the cat works, it is true. I promise. The vent tube inside, which we don't use on an EVO is the only part effected from the direction of the arrow. If you notice there is a welded up spot on the side of that cat, that is where the vent was, we weld them shut as the EVO does not use them.
The length issue......the pipe between the muffler and cat is also adjustable. Any of you that don't like that the tip sits out a little to far for your particular taste may want to push the pipe onto the cat/offroad pipe further. With the new exhaust you can PROBABLY even get away with moving the rear most hanger on the cat back pipe to the other side of the rubber for even more adjustment. I don't think it will cause any clearnace problems at the rear diff. We have a LOT of clearance in the systems.
Thanks for all the kind words guys!!

Glad you guys are happy. I am also really happy with our EVO exhaust, how can you argue with the weight, power and price? We did pretty good on that one.
Thanks again,
