stock IC pipes > aftermarket IC pipes

I just installed aftermarket intercooler pipes upper and lower....
there was no holders for ic pipes and it dont fit well not like oem...
u have to struggle the hoses to make the pipes fit right...(very time consuming job and sucks big time)...and i dont like the upper ic pipes...they get rid of rubber parts and its just long solid pipe...therefore its hard to put it on and hard to take it out, lets say if u need to take the radiator fan out ,.,u will need to take everything out because the upper solid ic pipe is on the way,.,..
fittment sucks so i end up putting oem upper ic pipe back on...i used only lower ic pipe though!
so anyone think about replacing ic pipe to aftermarket one...think twice...maybe only lower ic pipe worth it ,,,,since lower adds major hp than upper.
or find one that has ic pipe holders like stock one...i wonder why they dont put holders on ic pipe?

You want it to be solid pipe. That mesh rubber crap balloons at WOT. I'm also curious to which one you got because aftermarket ones don't have holders/hangers or need them.

i got logic ,,,pretty much same as helix one..
i installed the upper pipe and try to put the stock battery back on, i just couldnt , so iwas gonna get smaller battery , but i didnt like the fitment anyway... so XXXx it

did you tighten the lower connection to the turbo all the way
yeah ~
i had T-Bolts .but its kinda hard to feel if its tight or not. cause the t-bolts keeps turning and i was afraid i might brake one if i overtighten,

Here is a picture of the same kit. It looks like a tight fit, but it works.

lil evil evo....dont u had a hard time putting chorme upper ic pipe on without leaving scratch? and wasnt it pain in the *** to connect those two upper pipes together sicne those two pipes are in hard to reach area?(under the headlight )!
and wasnt it hard to adjust the pipe to fit right ....due to no holders on ic pipe?

make sure to losen ur battery tie down and pull the bar as far to the side of the car as u can.... make sure everything is snug.... u can tell if the t-bolts are getting 2 tight cause the coupler will start to buldge out the sides its pretty easy to tell if it will pop off or not....

That's the Logic intercooler pipes, which the other guy couldn't get installed, but it didn't seem to be problem to install for lil evil evo. The Logic intercooler pipes look very good too.
