HKS SSQV idle help...

Alright, I have the HKS SSQV setup on my Buschur Upper Intercooler Piping. I have it recirculated and its running pretty good for the most part.

Whenever I use my remote start the car will start up for like 5 seconds then quit. wait 5 more seconds restart and its good to go. with my old 1g I never had this problem.

And when ever I put it in neutrual and coast to a stoplight i'm getting dips in the RPMS while stopped and while coasting down with the clutch engaged to like 500 and 600RPMS again never happened with the 1G.

I have read posts that say dont mess with the nut on top, however some people say it helps.

If i wanted to turn it to help my situation and try to adjust it what is the best idea? To the right *tight or the left loss?

If not adjusting that what else can I try?

thanks for the help

staton

Get an APS BOV.

I see most of the big hp guys running the HKS, simply because they do hold alot of boost, but I have never read a good thing about the driveability.

I have a APS twin Vent and it works great. No stalling or idling problems. Not as loud as the HKS.

I have the version 2 (comes with upper intercooler pipe) and I have had it stall twice since I last drove it. First time was on a spirited drive on some backroads, stalled as I came to a stop at a stop sign. Second was revving the engine from inside the engine bay. Other than that is been good. Holds boost very well, actually made my car feel faster. Probably because I'm actually holding boost. As far as fixing the idle, well I have UTEC going is soon.
