$30 for brass shifter bushings... no thanks.

I spent $1, maybe. Nylon bushing (Lowe's) with a steel insert (my garage) epoxied in. I had to turn down the nylon bushing to make it a perfect fit. I did it with a drill and a file. Used the drill as a make shift lathe and slimed down the bushing with a file until it slide right into the shift "hoop". I had the insert sitting around. Feels solid, so I'm happy.

 

Man thats too much work. they have em for 20bucks on eBay!

 

Damn I wish I had my evo already b/c I would be all over that diy mod for damn sure!!!!

 

That's still $1 too much for a mod that is worthless on new cars.
