I was wondering how much boost the stock turbo + fuel system can handle. Basically what i'm asking is once i get an ebc what do i set my boost at.

20-21 should be ok if your not running a pump and injectors... it might taper .. depending on if you have a Safc or a flash...

If you are using alky you can turn it upto 27-28... but you might want to get some new headstuds

On pump 93 I was running 22psi falling to 21 maybe 20.5 by redline. But yeah if you run alky you can get some serious numbers like 03brevo8 said.

You can actually run around 24psi on pump. The car has more than enough fuel for the stock turbo.

From what i've heard being up at pruven for a few dynoday's with al and seeing a lot of cars on the dyno, usually 20.5psi is good with a flash you should be able to hold it to redline maybe tapering to 19-20ish. Best thing to get rid of boost fall off from my own expierences with my car is get some cams. once I got my 264/272 cams with my supporting mods I was able to run 22psi due to the reduction of backpressure.

I would definatly say not to go higher then 20 personally with the mods you have and especially with out a flash. Not worth another psi, what is it going to get you that much faster? Just not worth the chance leave it at 19 or 20 until you get it tuned.

Yeah diff do 21-22 psi on 93 octane but i would make sure you get a fuel pump so there is enough fuel being pumped but if your on alky then you can go 25-27 psi but you do need headstuds that were mentioned above i would get a hallman manual boost controller best bang for the buck

For EBC you want an HKS EVC V
By far the best boost controller on the market.

Could someone run 22 psi for a bit to see if their fuel pump fails?

lol seriously, I need to find out. Just do it for like 2 months.

you'll need a fuel pump anyway, mine as well help me out before you replace it.

after reading up a little i've realized that there isn't much of a difference between a MBC and an EBC besides price..so i've decided to go with the hallman mbc. I'm gonna set it up at 20 PSI. Oh, and one other thing i'll be getting a fuel pump too! Sounds good?

one more question.. how much boost can a stock car hold til redline?
