After installing a tubular header, 10.5 hotside, and 3" o2 housing to go along with everything else on the car I had a little trouble re-connecting the wastegate bar to the hotside. Pretty sure the rod bent a little and now my boost spikes up to around 22 then drops to around 15 and creeps up a couple more psi. Any ideas?

 

When I bent my wastegate boost would just spike higher and higher until I would get fuel cut. If you made sure all connections are good ( intercooler pipes, vacumn lines, etc) then its a strong possibility.

Yep just get a new one...How bent is yours, because mine was real bad.

 

Where can you pick up just a wastegate at????

You just need the wastegate actuator but yea, you can always get a new on from the dealer but who knows how much that might be. Worth calling and asking though. Also you can post and see if anyone killed their stock turbo yet and buy their actuator.

 

Contact "lancerdealer" , if he cant get it let me know and Ill ask my shop where they got mine.
