Any feedback on Buschur stage 1 upgrade?

I am leaning toward this upgrade, along with an Exedy twin disc clutch. The installation would be done @ Buschur. Anyone have any good/bad results to report from this, particuarly the stage 1 upgrade? My search on this issue showed some unhappy campers (poor fitament, rattles, leaks) but they were buyers of early systems and apparently many of the kinks have now been worked out. Also, some have reported being brushed off when calling for help with problems on items they purchased, saying Buschur seemed too overwhelmed by the amount of new business they were generating to worry much about keeping old customers happy.

I have also read many flattering remarks about Buschur in general, so I am wondering what specifically your experiences with the Stage 1 mod have been, including any adverse effects on transmission/transfer case life.

I am also thinking about taking the Buschur route. I had a catback and test pipe from a certain vendor on backorder for way too long and I had to cancel. Now I'm glad because I want to go with Buschur products. Everyone seems happy with buschur products today and I've yet to hear poor customer service stories.

A few things you may want to consider are: 1.) *Example* The HKS intake you buy may not work right with the Greddy Upper IC pipe and Blitz BOV. All of Buschur products work in harmony. 2.) Like me, you probably live in an area with very little speed shops and experienced tuners. Buschur is close to us for installs and flashes and such.

And to top it all off, Buschur is not as expensive as Vishnu and Works and others. That is another key factor for me. But it's up to you to decide and would also like to hear how stage 1 and 2 affected their drivelines.

I currently have the Buschur Stage 1 and love it. The way I see it is the Stage 1 just improves on stock car's weaknesses such as pig rich AFR, freeing up exhaust flow from the stock's smaller 2.25" tubing, and holding boost more solidly. You'll definitely feel a difference and I have had no problems with their Stage 1 even with my crappy mechanical skills and installing them myself.

Do it, you will love the results! just make sure you do the flash and not the AFC. I picked up 86whp and 81wtq with a stage 1 over my baseline, stock results. I then did a full custom tune (DynoFlash) and it jumped another 28whp.

I think everyone should do a BR stage 1 or the equivilant from other vendors. It really improves upon the cars performance. It should have came like this from the factory IMO. I think it's closer in power to what they get in the UK stock

I haven't had any bad experiences regarding buschur customer service.

As long as I own my EVO Buschurs number will be listed in my cell phone. Every part on my car came from there. I currently have Stages 1-3 and am very happy with my car. Go with the 3 inch catless system with the magnaflow muffler, you will love it.

As for the customer service everytime I have tried to get ahold of them Jarrod has been there to help me out.
