Question Compression test questions...

I hear alot of people saying to do a compression test if they are having power issues. My question is, if you do find a problem with the compression what sort of recourse do you have? Meaning what can be done to fix compression issues? TIA

its either leakin valves, blown head gasket or worn rings. Either way you would have to fix the prolbem by pulling the head or rebuilding the block.

Trust me both my 1st gen dsm's had horrible compression due to a rod bearing and bad valve, when your compression is really bad, its because of a serious problem, of which you will definantly feel.
