Question Evo oil question

I have a question reguarding the brand of oil the evo takes. I have searched about this but I have not found anything concrete.... I know it comes with Mobil 1 from the factory and my question has to do with different brands. In my town, they have a Valvoline oil change place and a Jiffy Lube ( Quaker State )..... I have been going to the valvoline place with my OZ but is Quaker state synthetic better than Valvoline's ?? I see a lot of guys on here with amsoil, red line, blah blah blah - does not using mobil 1 get me in trouble with the dealer ?? Just thought i'd ask as many questions as i can before i pick up my evo in the fall. Thanks in advance for the help.

As long as you use synthetic oil you will be fine for more info look at page 9-8 in your owners manual that is for an 03 anyway.

Any full synthetic will be ok. I don't see much difference for daily driver. Some people here used MOTUL racing oil and had good result on track. IMO, changing oil frequent is more important. I buy anything on sale.
