Need: Stroker + Turbo?

I am in the process of Bringing up HP & TQ on my evo. 300HP doesnt cut it
anymore.
I was looking at ATP kits and AMS Stroker.

Does anyone knows what Stroker kit and Turbo combination would equate to Stock spool?

why don't you use a stock turbo and engine and make 400 whp with alky injector at 28psi?

along with fuel pump and bigger FMIC?

Looking at 400 HP with no ALKY kit, and 450HP with it.

Also Stock spool is a must.

Was just looking at that from RMR, cost about $4500 plus core , labor & shpping

=$7,000+ thats without turbo) +3,000 turbo=10LARGE

So the plan was to get the stroker and the turbo,

Just need opinion which one would work nicely and spool early on the stroked engine?

its identical looking to the 16G its a conversion.. and i beleive the spool is somewhere in that neighborhood considering that the evo 16g flows 2lb/min less than a 20G

looked already and it looks like 20G is now 21G and that thing spools slow and only give 10-20HP

Guess will have to get 3071 to make at least 50HP and keep stock spool.

Wonder how 3071 and 2.3 Stroker engine would work and what HP can I get on 91 Octane??

AMS has a really nice stroker kit. As for a turbo, both RNR and AMS have group buy turbo kits going on right now. If ur looking for some serious power, the GT35R from either vendor is freakin sick with a stroker kit. If u wanna maintain a somewhat higher than stock spool, check out the GT3076 or the GT3071. Haven't heard many positive things about ATP, but AMS and RNR have amazing kits and they're quality is top notch. You'll have to fork out some extra cash for the AMS kit though, so the decision is up to u! Good luck bro!

Thanks a lot for the info!!!

Will probably go with 3071 and stroked engine, However i hear that this setup chokes the turbo??? Is it true or BS?

Thats a crock of ****, the stroker should actually improve overall spooling of the turbo cause it's a bigger displacement engine. I don't know who got that idea......i don't even know how u would choke the turbo unless u boosted at like 35 psi or something.

i heard gt30 and gt 35 hybrid could actually do what you want.

you have to have it custom made... I'll find some more details about it.

I actually like the stock turbo setup with 10.5 hotside with titanium turbine idea.

this gives you better hp range/tq range as well as decreasing inertia of the turbo spool lag, which in turn makes you more hp at faster spool up.
