I will have a Buschur 2.4 block and stg3 head soon with the atp 3071r with .82 housing..
It should be done within a couple of weeks, Ill let you guys know how it goes..
And you guys are on crack if you think you can easily make 400hp with the stock turbo and 450hp with the alky kit, I didnt even make that on my br440 with all supporting mods...I know it has been done, but its far from the norm...

 

How much are you willing to spend? I would suggest Crower stroker kit and an HKS turbo or Jun stroker kit and an HKS turbo.

 

I wasnt going to spend more than 6,000 For stroker and turbo kit.

SO I was looking at ATP turbos nice kits and good price $2500
And AMS Stroker for $2000.

Not quite have the $$$ for HKS stuff as theirs will be about 4-5K


Also STATIX keep us (me) updated on your 2.4 Buschur and 3071 turbo. Since I should be able to replicate the same with AMS and ATP.

What was that about Hybrid G35 turbos? I havent hear anithing about that. Info Please.

 

^ let me know what it costs you to get those parts installed and what other items you need to get it up and running. I'm strongly considering the AMS stroker kit.

 

tinking of going for the crower stroker with my atp 3071r. any views if it would work? maybe with a higher compression

 

I spoke with AMS and ATP and been told it'll make safely 420WHP on pump gas.

I would imagine with race fuel 500WHP is very possible with excelent spool

Tell me how you like your ATP 3071R ?? How does it compare to stock turbo?

making 459 hp on the crank and 543 torque with my hks 272 cams and magnus intake manifold. its a good street setup. Just find the low end a bit laggy. Only that the turbo spools at abt 2800rpm but hitting full boost about 3800rpm. tink its due to me using the 272 cams and the big manifold so lose out at the low end I tink with the stroker and a higher compression i should make more hp and torque.

What manifold is that Magnus or APS?

Are you making all that power with the stroker installed or just the 3071 + other mods?

 

Its the magnus one. No stroker just the 3071 and hks cams and other mods. So tinking of going for a stroker but indecisive on 2.2,2.3 or 2.4.

 

I think you'd be safest with the 2.4(4G64) block. I was thinking stroker myself. There was another thread discussing this. It turns out that the 4G64 block had a high deck than a 4G63 block. Thus being easier on you pistons. Can somone with more than two cents chime in on that

 

Yep, RNR is the company that uses the 4G64 block. The 4G64 block is 6mm higher.

ALso for the 4g64 its a nice motor, if you have the $$. It'l cost 6-8 $$ to do the swap.

So far 2-3K for stroker would make it easier on wallet

 

Mine is a 0.63 ar. It spools at 2800 full boost at 3800. I tink the spooling would be better if i use the original intake manifold. the magnus intake would be better if i had a stroker. but cant decide on which stroker and wat cc. dun know which would be suitable for my atp 3071r turbo. most prob going for crower.

 

Go for the 2.4 block and be done with it.
