way to test oxygen sensor ?

way to test oxygen sensor ?

i just got an error code from my front o2 sensor sayn that my car is running lean this is after i had a bad cat and it replaced handt run with turbo for a few weeks cuz it was causing soo much back preasure.

any way was wondering if there was a way to test the sensor with like a ohm or a multi guage

thanks for the input

actually had two codes

one saying faulty main sensor then the other one saying the car was running lean.

thanks for the help

i tryed resetting the code drove it for about 2 miles and it came back.

is my car going to be hurt because the o2 sensor is bad or will it just run rich

It's not gonna just run rich if it's already running lean. Sounds like some other issue than just the o2 sensor... have you thought about buying a new o2 sensor and pluggin it in?

new o2 sensor looks like its 200+ bucks and no where has them in stock iv been tryn to find one

i think the lean code was grabed as the sensor went out when i reset it the next code i got was just a bad sensor but im not sure why im askn

also the lean code could be because of the bad cat i had and not being able to run with out boost and i didnt reset the ecu after mitsu replaced the cat for the computer to relearn its fuel
mitsu probably just cleared the bad cat code
