Good point, I'll check the MAS asap and post results. And yeah, the car stalling whenever you push in the clutch is sketchy..

I tried this, along with some injector cleaner.. no luck so far. If the MAS looks fine, i'll start fresh, drain the remaining gas, fill up with new 93 and put in some dry gas.

water or moisture in the MAF can cause weird problems, Try removing it and blowing air through it to dry it out. If that doesnt change see I f someone near you will let you try their MAF.

Ok, I took it to the dealer (after removing the MAS and finding it was covered with black gunk) and they told me that was the problem. It was throwing a CEL for loss of signal from the MAS. But they told me that the only way to clear the problem was to replace the MAS. Is there anyway to clean it?? It looks like black grease or something so using air is out of the question.. it seems kind of stupid to replace a $500 part because it's dirty.

Good to hear you found out the problem. Maybe the greasy-gunk is from oil on the filter. I don't see why you couldn't clean it yourself with a mild soap or amonina/water and some toothpicks and Q-tips. Worth a try before you drop 500 bucks.

Ok, well I bought another MAF off a member here which is in perfect shape. I installed it and the car is still not idling. I suppose it feels a little better, but it could just be me. Once the car is up to running temp it will idle perfectly! i don't get it. I brought it down to pruven to get it dynoflashed, (before i installed the new MAF) and they pulled the CEL to find that they were getting a low output reading on the MAF, and a high output reading on something else associated with it (a little black box that is located up by the fuel rail/injectors) and reccomended I change the MAF. so I did and WTF!!! so needless to say it was a $450, 3 hour trip for nothing.

Any other ideas??

since you have replaced the MAS, take it back to the dealer and let them see if they can figure it out, since it apparently wasnt the MAS

Did you adjust the throttle cable to get your idle speed or did you use the idle bleed screw? If you used the throttle cable, put it back and adjust you idle speed using the small screw on the TB facing back neer the firewall. Use a small 3" screwdriver to get to it, turning ti in will raise the idle speed and backing it out will lower it.

^thanks for the tip, yeah i used the cable.

I just pulled the CEL and i'm getting Two P0107's for MAP/BAR Low imput signal, and one for a o2 sensor heater wire.....

I can't even clear these codes, as soon as i clear them they are still there... anyone know what part the P0107 is associated with??
