Cool Big Boost Question

I was wondering if it is safe and possible to run 22-23 psi boost on a modded evo on 92 octane? I would appreciate anyones help in determining this. My car is a 2003 Evo, with TBE, Downpipe, Testpipe, MBC set at 23psi, Stock airbox, 650 injector, Walbro fuel pump, FMIC, upper/lower pipe, forge actuator, works aperture, SAFC2 tuned to 11.5 A/F. Car was professionally tuned and runs great, it actually holds 22psi till redline.

from the sounds of it you should be fine... the only thing you'd have to worry about is the stock re-circ valve leaking as you get higher in the psi range... may want to go to an mr valve and pump it up to 24 with 23 to redline.

The power gains of running 1 or 2 psi is not worth it. I would keep it 21/20 to be safe.

thanks for your replys guys. I have since lowered it to 22psi with a spike of 23psi every now and then. I can tell my car is flowing good air based on the SAFC2 Karman reading 1700 or above at 6,000 rpm.
