peak boost lowered?

ok well i have a blitz tt and it says my peak boost was something like 1.31 which is like 19psi but now its only going to 1.28 which is like 18.5psi. i know its not a lot but it used to always go to 1.31 and now it wont go past 1.28. i got an oil change if that has anything to do with it.

I really don't understand, your TT is telling you that you're peaking lower than you used to be, right? I'd get a good boost gauge to find out for sure what's going on. That's really the only thing you can do. Your TT might be off, but I don't know anything about them. Also someone could have played with something when you got your oil changed. Check all hoses for leaks.

yeah the turbo timer has a built in boost gauge, it usually reads 1.31bar when im at full throttle, but now it only reads 1.28bar. is that a noticable amount of power?

tighten a couple clamps, still only 1.28 psi. this is my first turbocharged car and so i didnt really know which clamps to tighten but i tightened about three of them. anything else i can do?

i asked a buddy of mine and he said it was the humidity. he was driving a greddy turbo civic si that was set to 7psi but it was only pushing 4psi.

I really don't know what else to tell you to check. I would say that .03 bar is not a noticeable difference, but I can understand your concern. I have a MBC now, so I have the weather problem all the time. This time of year I spike at 21psi and hold 19 till redline in the morning, and on the way home in the afternoon, I only hit 18psi maybe. Just have to deal with it for the added power up top. I'm sure you already tried this, but boost will be the highest when the engine is under load, hence 4th and 5th gear. Hammer your car in 3rd all the way through 5th. Then check and make sure your still peaking lower. It could be that you're not fully boosting in the higher gears that's what's giving you the lower peak readings. Just a possibility.
