what tranny oil should i use?

I have 03 evo, and it has about 20000 miles. what tranny oil should I use?? I personally like redline because I tried that on other cars before... and people say it's good stuff.....

I have the lucas oil in my car with no problems so far the trans shifts better then befors.

I use BG Synchroshift and I like it alot. Only thing that I have noticed about it is when its is really cold outside and if you dont let your car warm up its hard to shift gears. My guess would be the BG is thicker than most oils causing to thicken up when cold.


If you go to a autozone you can get some Pennzoil Synchormesh for 5 bucks a quart. That will probably be the best bang for your buck.

lightweight redline shock proof or mt90 work really well. I think the mt-90 and bg synchroshift are a little thin
