How much would it cost if I were willing to test it out?

We installed one of these beauties last weekend, the car was like a dream to drive, superb driveability and none of the harsh characteristics of the metal sinter version (which really isn’t that bad at all). Still some rattle and noise when disengaged but not too bad. The car was close to stock power wise and the owner isn’t really the launching type of guy so I can’t tell much about the power handling capabilities I’m afraid.

I was REALLY willing to test this baby out and fork out the cash to do so but no vendors seem to have the ability to order it yet. I'm just gonna go with ACT and use the extra money for a tranny/t-case rebuild and some other stuff. I guess we know now that it still rattles.

Evo VII, Can you compare this clutch with the RPS carbon carbon? [Noise, driveability]
Still some rattle and noise, Could you describe more detailed?

I read many many posts about RPS and Exedy and I can't decide which one to go...

Sorry everyone - the test vechicle was already choosen a while ago.

The D-Core still uses a floating center plate, so getting rid of that noise is not it's focus. However the noise that I would bet are missing is the decel noise and everyday "chatter". Additionally, I bet the car is truely a dream to drive. I can't wait untill I can feel one and, yes, I am jealous.

EVO_SWE - Keep me posted in case the owner decides to bump up the poewr at all. I am curious to see how it reacts!

Thanks!

Apologies, the spot was filled pretty quick.

I'll keep everyone posted as to the extent of our testing!

Good luck with your purchase!

Sorry Les,

No triple yet. Only Single and Twin (not for every car, some offer twin, some only single). However the Twin is a slightly bigger diameter and should hold more power.

However, I would be a tad nervous to put it in your car without turing up the wick on another test vechicle first.
