did i install this right! greddy s

ok i was doing all kinds of searches and i was only getting pictures off this blow off valve facing down. i tryed installing it like the stock one and this is what i got





ok so am i a dumb *** or am i ok. thanks for your help

You want the part with the bolt on flange to be going to the intercooler pipe and the port coming out of the side to be going to the intake before the turbo.

Yup backwards, flow path should be from intercooler pipe into turbo intake.

ok finally on right and im running vta with the neddle turned out 3 turns. it makes a fluttering sound at low rpms and a nice chirp at W.O.T. im running both springs and i dont have a problem with stalling or holding boost. i do fell like im getting more of a boost spike but nothing more gas and tuning wont help. from the looks of inside the blow off valve i was having some oil spots or maybe even dirt (dont think it was dirt) but do you guys think it might be caused by the fluttering or some thing else(dont know if it was before or after going vta). thanks

i've seen a lot of people do this.i'm still trying to figure out why they can't just look at the stock one,and figure out the right way.
