Looks/Sound/Fun... It's like wiping your Butt BEFORE you take a dump, it really serves NO purpose!

Much less backpressure on the turbo=quicker spool and a bit more boost

cutouts have been used on turbo cars for years, its a great way to add some "go" for not much money....ESPECIALLY if you want to keep the cat....just open the cutout infront of the cat and have an instant 20whp

I actually have NO cat, I have an AEM UEGO guage and have yet to look at it (its on my dash) to see if my new found opening (that sounds bad!) causes me to run too lean. 1/2 the camp also says "need back pressure for the turbo" othe other half says turbo builds its own back pressure. Will watch my guage when I get the car back! Thanks again for the further info qsujeff55!

yeah, do all your tuning with it closed....then open it up and see how much power you gain.

make sure to let the car cool off so the runs are on the same temp...

Hey Quick shifter, you can see a photo of the back if you go under my thread: "all vishnu owners check out photos" the Rear- end looks stock, still has the can coming out etc. go look at those photos. Video and audio clip should be on here Tues pm. will have the cams 280's in there with the TME turbo,so maybe you can pick up a lopey idle also! Talk to you soon.

I believe the side exhaust open will need a seperate tune if I remember correctly.
A guy here in atlanta had one on his SRT-4 with over 400whp on pump gas with a 3inch turbo back exhaust. With the electric cutout side exhaust open he was over 450whp so it makes a big difference. He was on a 60-1 I believe so that might be the difference. It might be different for the TME turbo, but honestly I don't know for sure. Ask the person at the dyno and maybe they will know.

Yeah, its not gonna make that big of a difference ont he stock turbo(TME is kinda stock)...it might add 1 lb of boost and it will def spool faster....but nothing like 50whp, unless the cat it on the car.

No need for a completely separate tune.

i thought u want little to no backpressure with turbos b/c they have already used the pressure to boost... I thought i've read the Buschur's Exhaust have as least bends as possible to create as little backpressure as possible, idk it may be the time of day?!!? or i may just be crazy....
