Evo IX Turbo pics

Found this in a magazine I just picked up. The compressor housing is a bit bigger. I wonder how big of a difference this will make. Sorry for the crappy pic, I don't have a scanner. This article was in Road and Track's SPEED magazine

I saw that too. I can't wait until we can get one. Imagine that cover and the CHRA on the TME ball bearing. Talk about the Ectasy of turbo for the evo8.

Gee, doesn't that kind of remind you of all of the "20G" turbo's that different companies are trying to perfect? Same back half with a little bit larger compressor side? Maybe the Mitsu engineers have gotten it right......

That compressor side looks way bigger than the '05, although I realize that it's a little misleading since the internal area probably ain't much different. I wonder if you'll still be able to swap it in the stock.
