The gears feature a beefy tooth profile and are surface ground to reduce noise and increase torque capacity.
The CNC machined center differential cap features a Torrington bearing so there won't be any problems with galling up of the side gear or cap.
We also have a severe duty version for those who plan on taking the car into the 9's that features a much larger bearing for added durability.
The gearing is recommended for those who drag race but it will work for those on the street if you are making above 400WHP. The gearing really shines for those who have the power to get through 3rd by the 660' mark. This will allow you to stay in 4th gear for the rest of the run and really pack on the MPH.

As for the RA 4.89 gears, this will shorten up all the gears quite a bit forcing you to shift it like crazy and use 5th gear. This would be better suited for rally use but not the 1320'.

In the mean time, I have been considering getting the 4.89. I figure w/ my GT3076 my acceleration should be pretty good .

If I were you, I'd go with an RS gear ratio 3 ~ 5 and a custom F.Gear Ratio
Left = RS
Right = GSR
Gear Ratios
1 a 2.785 2.785
2 a 1.950 1.950
3 a 1.444 1.407
4 a 1.096 1.031
5 a 0.825 0.720
Rev 3.416 3.416
Final Gear 4.529 <---- replace this with 4.xx (lower than .529) or 3.xx
Left = RS
Right = GSR
