Greddy Type S BOV - upside down installation!

ok its on right! now it sounds ok (to fN loud) but should i face it toward the block or leave it facing the fan. and is there some thing that screws on the end if the blow off valve, i see threads and i dont know if its suppost to just be open like that (is there a filter or something that can keep junk out of there. thanks

to you! love making people allitle scared, every one and there mother revs at me and at one crack at the blow of and ever one kind of just falls back. i know it loud but i returned it to recyc for power reasons so stop flaming
