Megan Full Exhaust System, Good Buy?

hey guys, new to the forum, and am planning on starting my mods with a 3" turboback, boost controller, and dynoflash chip..
I was searching on ebay and came across this, including headers and the works... is this a good product/deal? Thanks in advance. here's the link : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33630

That looks like an awesome price, i got my Megan TBE from a group buy here, for 545, and it's money well spent. It sounds better then any other exhaust i've heard on an evo so far.

I just installed the Megan O2 housing and am getting ready to install the manifold. Both are very nice quality.

I have that TBE and I love it. Most people think it's a more expensive exhaust when they hear it. I say go for it and enjoy the purchase!!!

ok guys, thanks, and as bad as this may be, i ordered it and haven't even picked up the car yet but i've driven it, and love it, definitely different than my 350whp '02 GTi 337... Should be a fairly easy install... I know i'll be running the test pipe instead of a hi-flow cat, but this system doesn't have the "o2 fix" thing does it? I wonder if the Buschur Racing test pipe will bolt up and be the correct size... if anyone knows, that'd be great...

Also, some details bout the car : '04 weightless wight, black leather, sunroof, HID's, 14k on the clock, and im picking it up for 25,500...
thanks again,
alex

Looks like a pretty decent price for the whole kit. I have the Megan cat-back and I was surprised at the quality(good), especially for the price! Good luck and let us know what you think after you get it installed.

Hey man I got my exhaust through that same company on ebay. Its very good quality. Just tell then to trade that high flow cat for the test pipe, and they you can have a bung welded on it and use the antifoulers thats what i did. have it 6,000 miles with no problems at all. All i got from them was the catback and test pipe. I did order the downpipe too, but it never came in and after 2 months of waiting the just sent me my money back. good company though!!!

Megan Racings "High FLow Cat" is just a test pipe. It is not an actual catalytic converter.

People here seem to pretty pleased but keep in mind they did start out as a ricer company, obviously ripping off Mugen, and then selling knock off parts under a name close to the originator.

But none the less, people seemed to be pleased.
