Where should I go?

Well I haven't been receiving the answers that I wanted so I'm posting in the general.

Here is the deal. I have a few parts I want to install locally around Maryland or surrounding areas and I need some good info on the shops and best prices.

I am willing to try brands that you guys recommend
other than what I have listed and any additional parts you may recommend.
Please make recommendations based on your experience.

I still have stock turbo and stock internals and am going
to stick w/ the stock turbo. Suggest anything from 10.5 hotside
to water/meth kit...I WILL be upgrading asap.

first set:
-ARP head studs
-HKS cam gear
-HKS 272 cams (i already bought these)
-680 injectors
-Apexi s-afc2
-egt gauge, air/fuel gauge (defi possibly)
-PowerEnterprise timing belt

second set:
-Exedy Hyper Twin disk carbon clutch(more streetable i hear?)
-throw out bearing

the parts already on my car are listed in my sig.

thanks a lot !!!

Joe Yu

I contacted AMS and they said they don't do timing belts and head gaskets, so we'll see...

Also, anyone have any suggestions as to who and how I should get the car tuned once everything is installed? i.e. going to turbotrix for ecu tuning, local tuner w/ just s-afc...etc

thanks

you think buying parts before i got to TT will be cheaper? I would definitily go there then. And I personallly called Cory and he said they wouldn't/couldn't do timing belts. Maybe they are too busy who knows...

Any you guys have suggestions on what I should add or exclude from my list of mods? I'm keeping stock turbo and stock internals. Maybe water inj. kit and hotside while down there. what kind of injectors should i get as in size and brand.

If you buy parts elsewhere then bring them to a different shop, they cannot be held liable for failures related to the parts themselves, since they don't know what you have done with the parts since receiving them, so keep that in mind. It probably won't be a problem, but just be aware of it.

Joe,
I would highly recommend ISP Racing and locate at Beltsville, Maryland. They are building my GT35R turbo and should be ready in next week. So far my experience with them has been first class, they can fabricate and manufactue their own parts. Give them a call and ask for Peter or Mark. They will take care of you. If you looking for this stuff to be in stock you might want to try http://ptuning.com. Most items they cary they keep in stock. They dont do installs as of yet but that may change.

For your tuning you might want to think about a turbo XS utec. It will alow you to control more then just fuel like with an S-AFC. Turbo XS also does dyno tuning for the utec. They did a great job with my car and are pretty close to the DC area. One other thing is the twin plate clutch might be a bit of overkill for what you have planned. You might want to pick up a cheaper clutch and save a bit of $.

yea definetly not sure about the clutch. I just wanted to buy something that would last a long time and that I know is reliable right off the bat. Keep the suggestions coming. I really appreciate them all.
