if you want something more quite, you may use high flow cat....of course, it won't gain as much as a TP.

OK, I have a vishnu sig full exhaust and a buddy of mine has the megan racing full exhaust (equivelant). We both have silencers for our exhausts. I only use mine for road trips greater than 1 hour each way. It robs tons of power 50 hp sounds about right. It kills your spool. So dont even think about racing with it in. I just sucks that bad. If you run a baffle for an extended amount of time it will take a day of driving around with out it in for your car to wake back up. They help on road trips

I am not bs-ing. It feels like stock but spools even later. I have 325 to the wheels and with the silencer in I am down to a 1.5" exhaust. It feels like stock again. I know it is more than stock but it is way down on performance.

I have the espelir jgt500 exhaust for over a yr. now and love it!!! Although, the silencer...is brand new!! It will never touch my car

The only time I would use a silencer, is if I was driving within a funeral, where the noise is just not needed...but thats the ONLY exception to the rule for me.

I have the JIC exhaust with the silencer but never keep it in. The thing rattles around and at certain RPMs its just crap. I wish it wouldnt rattle so I could use it for road trips.

when Shiv tuned my car i had the silencer in, so he made me take it out and he said that there is significant losses. he told me that it will basically cancel out the tune, so 50hp sounds realistic to me
