I also have a TRE trans. w/ drag gearing. One of the best mods I have done so far!

Hey just curious how do you like those gears? I was thinking of going with them, but dont want to lose drivability. Its a lot to pay for something without knowing how its gonna feel.

I was also worried about drivability with the different gears. But soon found out that I had nothing to worry about. They are completely streetable.

I actually like it more than the stock gearing. You don't have to shift as often and never have to worry about shifting out of fourth on the strip. I'm pretty sure it 140 MPH @7500 in 4th.

Worth every dollar. I would also suggest the TRE TSB update. Makes your shifts nice and smooth.

Yeah I would do the TSB update, that good to know aboyut the driveability, but it still worries me I mean I would hate to pay for it then not like it. I know its hard to explain, but could you elaborate a bit on them? I kind of try to imagine it being like the S2K where it seems like you stay in gear forever.
