Is 1300°F coating good enough for o2 Housing?
Is 1300°F coating good enough for o2 Housing?
I sent my o2 housing out to JET HOT to get coated because some people recommended that I should just to be safe.
Now i'm running stock turbo for now, but down the road i'm probably going to look into the Turbo Trix turbo upgrade and was wondering if the 1300°F STERLING coating was good enough for my o2 housing?
Or should I go with the next level up 2000°F jet hot coating?
Please let me know.
Thanks!

Yeah especially manifold too, dunno how much temp is different but manifold my 1300 coating burned off the first time I turned it on when I was running UR GT35r. Considering stock turbo with minor mods My Defi EGT reads about 800-1350 all the time. Tapped about 3 inches before block on the 2nd runner from the left (Facing the car)
