which intake best for my setup?

i have a rmr catback. going to get a downpipe and high flow cat. and would like to buy an intake. these are basically the only mods i'll be able to do until i get a better job. I was wondering what intake you guys would suggest. I've heard good things about both injen and hks rs but also heard that injen is crap. help me out please.

Stay with the "stock" airbox and toss in a K&N. You NEED the vortex in the box, that a "cone" cant give. UNLESS you dyno tune it, could get a few HP. (properly tuned) Drop in a cone type filter, you LOSE 12 AWHP. I had Bushur upper IC pipe, RMR Cone intake and "trashed" my MAS, so I gave away the intake parts and kept the stock-box. which is good until 600WHP, kind of miss the suction noise from the cone though. add one of those without a dyno tune, plan on losing HP, but gaining the Whoosh. Which would you prefer? Look at my mods, will add 280's/ ALKY/ TME turbo and will STILL have the stock-box. call Dustin/Calvin at Vishnu and ask them.

Stay stock and save money while keeping your current HP...or throw in a Works or K&N drop-in filter for <$100.

I bought a Vibrant Filter & Adapter from Slowboy Racing.com great price $60 checkit out at:
http://www.slowboyracing.com/more.php?id=2429&

This Intake plus ma cams (HKS 264/272) = F*#king AWESOME!! I was amazed on how much better my car felt. I use to only run K&N panel filter in my previous EVO 6, which ran great with panel, but felt terrible with cone style filter. But my EVO 7 feels wicked with the cone filter, why I don't know LOL....

My new catback Magnaflow 3" exhaust goes on this weekend!!

if you are going to get a reflash (I hope so, as it will really wake the car up after those mods), the best, most consistent intakes out there are the Helix, HKS RS and Injen in my experience. Others like the ARC work very well also, but require a bit more tuning to get things right.
