Havent posted in a while...some questions~

I have a RSR Downpipe, K&N Cone filter, MBC@1.4Bar, and a catback exhaust on my car.

I've been noticing a sort of pop that comes out of my exhaust when I am shifting into another gear. Not loud, but sounds likes if you close your mouth and try to blow. Is this something normal? There is a problem that in part of the exhaust there's a tapering where the catback used to be able to bolt onto the stock cat. Now that the cat is gone its 3in from the O2 housing and then to 2.75 and then back out to 3.

Also I've had my CEL engine light on from the downpipe for a while...too lazy to get a fix since i've been told its not really a problem. But now I've been told that its sorta important...? Dunno, just wondering if I could get another opinion. =)

Thirdly, shifting into third sometimes gives me a TINY grind and for some reason on some days even when my tranny has been used for a while and should be warm it feels like I have a hard time getting into second/ fourth. Its not a grind but its like I have a resistance pushing it into the gate so to say. Any ideas? Would some new tranny fluid solve the problem?

Thanks for all your help =)

Oh one last thing... my friend asked why there's no evo's with superchargers / twins(besides engine space) and I think I once knew the answer but I have no clue now. Anyone want to elaborate? Thanks again.

the pops are normal, I even notice them with only a catback installed. All it is is unburnt fuel hitting hot spots in the exhaust and "popping". It's because our cars run extremley rich from the factory.
