Installed HKS Hi power and test pipe

Today i had my HKS Hi-Power muffler installed with costum 3 inch piping and my ultimate racing 3 inch test pipe. I must say it has a nice low sound but when you hit it, watch out opens up. also the minute i had the guy install the test pipe he put the 02 sensor back on had to take it out a lil bit. so no wires had to be spliced. as i started it up no CEL light. i also Highly recommend the ultimate racing test pipe if you want to get rid of your cat. cheap and works the best imo.

The muffler HKS uses in their Evo hi power system necks down to 2.25 or 2.5" internally, was your universal muffler the same way or was it actually 3" id?

to be honest i dont know the actual diameter of the muffler, but i purchased from lanevoVIII.com they sell the mufflers by themselves on there site. when i got the muffler it came in a box with HKS tape on it. i checked out the muffler i was confused at first because their was no etching on the tip or anything saying HKS. so i contacted them and they told me that not all of there mufflers come marked with something saying the HKS name and you can tell thats an HKS from the finish and the way it was made. i also contacted the people i ordered from they told me the same thing. so its possibly a special one. but i did just buy the muffler.

i've pressed it during my days off and when im on the turnpike, i felt it start picking up about 3 grand feels alot better without the cat. whoever said you dont feel a difference without a tune is wrong. i felt it and i had a friend who rode in my car when it was stock and now that i got the exhaust setup on it he told me it feels quicker then last time also.

I have the same set up. Exact same thing. I hope that the cops dont stop you like they did me. I got stop three times for that exhaust, beat two tickets so far. It sounds crazy when you open it up. I had my freind drive my car and when he steped on it I heard it half a mile away.
