camshafts and daily driving

I use my evo as my daily driver and have a set of 264 camshafts. I really want to install them but I am so afraid of something happening....what are you guys' opinion on camshafts wiht a daily driver? could they cause a lot of harm, I plan on doing the dynoflash for them too if that helps any... this topic has probably been beaten to death but I couldnt really find a clear thread on it

I have them and are great on the stock turbo no stall or anything but you will have to get your ecu flashed also go with 660 inject.

You do not need bigger injectors at this point in the modification process. The 264 cams will give you no problems and will idle almost like stock. Go for it.

so would i need the injectors? so far i have a turboback exhaust with cat delete, hks rs intake, mbc, walbro fuel pump and a flash...i also plan on getting intercooler piping soon.

this set of camshafts are used also, should I be worried about that, they were in another evo for about 3/4 thousand miles

No, you won't need injectors. I have HKS 264s with Vishnu cam gears (which weren't really necessary either) and the Walbro 255 and BR exhaust. No idle problems at all, and no starvation problems with stock injectors--even had it dyno tuned a little bit rich to be safe (I have the xede). You will have no problems and you will feel a good difference in torque.

264's will give you a LITTLE bit of lop in your idle...but very little. I'm running them in my daily driver with stock injectors - no problems.
