Those who track their Evos.

I am planning on taking my Evo to a road course track. I was wondering how long did your stock clutch last or are you still on the stockers?

On a road course your clutch should last a long long time. There is no drag type starts at club events which is where most of the clutch life is lost.

I have almost 30k miles on the car and the throwout bearing is making noise. But the clutch is still grabbing!

Tires, brake pads and rotors, that is a differnet story.

Autocross and Drag are rough on the clutch. Road corses shouldn't be too bad in it.

Im still on the stocker after 15k miles, 50+ hard launches and 300+ miles on the road course.

I just think some people burn out their clutches at stoplights

People who destory their clutch Drag Race, if you're going to track you should be more worried about brake pad, brake fluid, tires and possibly rotors...

My clutch has held up great and I've got over 800 track miles on it... as it has been said already however, brakes and tires don't hold up as well
