NEED HELP! I am having a whinning sound from the car under load.

I have a thread on here all about my whining/grinding/whirring (Whatever you want to call it noise) and the dealership checked all fluids and completely dismantled my tranny, removed my exhaust and still could not find anything that was causing the noise. I then got the response that it was "normal" according to the Mitsubishi Rep, and the Engineer. (By the way I have a 2005 MR with only 2000 miles on it) I have been trying to get any others opinions on what the heck is causing this annoying noise, the only reason I cannot accept the "normal" response from Mitsubishi is because it comes and goes!!! On acceleration and decceleration. Maybe they need to have a recall on these darn things to figure out what the problem is. So for now I am going to drive it, (with the noise)and if it goes out then they said they will replace it.

i'm not that lucky. i have over 30k on the car and my warranty was pretty much void after the first month i had it. according to everyone on here, it is definitely the transfer case, and it is just a matter of time. there is no way that annoying sound can be normal. at least mine cant......it actually drowns out my radio now. plus i think the LSD will help me in the autocross, so i am gonna go ahead and get it replaced. i will let ya know how it does.
