B&M Adjustable Short Shifter

I just got my B&M adjustable short throw shifter installed today. Now Ryne isnt the only one with a small stick (sorry ryne) lol. I opted to get it set to the full 45% reduction. When i got in the car, at first i noticed how hard it was to shift. Then i got used to the weight of the shifter, and now it feels really nice. The throw of it is also a lot shorter. It's really nice and i cant wait to take it to the drag strip. I highly recommend this shifter to anyone looking into getting one.

Hey man, thanks for the kind words........***.......anyways, the short shifter is really nice. A little more effort to get into gear, but the reduction is definitely noticable. B&M makes the best short shifters IMO, so anyone in the market should go with one!

I know, it's all good bro!

The B&M shifter will shift much smoother than stock, but if you go with the full 45% reduction, it's going to take more effort to get into gear. If you looking for a real smooth shifter, go with the non-adjustable one.

When I first installed this shifter in my car it was a little stiff as well. But after a week of driving it's nice and smooth now. I think maybe it just needs to get worn in a bit. All is good now.

If you opt for the full reduction, it will definitely take some breaking in!

LOL, hey Richie I offered to install it for him, but he had a gift certificate for Driver's Image so he used that!

I have the same impression of the the non-adjustable short shifter. At first I was really annoyed with the extra effort it took to shift even though the throws were shorter. I tried different knobs but did help any. Turns out I just had to get used to it and after one week, the shifts are definitely smoother and shorter. The shifts are positive and precise. i would recommend this product.
