Al, have you also considered the HKS Kansai intake manifold??

this thing sucks in a whole lot of air + you can slap on a 90mm Q45 throttle body...

Just FYI - I have a custom tubular exhaust manifold which is working very well as indicated by the power levels I am making.

I am interested to see the results on the other manifolds before I draw any generalizations other than I greatkly prefer the driveability and feel of the car with the magnus intake. Once the turbo is fully spooled of course its hard to realize any appreciable difference. In the spool up the magnus does make a huge difference in the seat of the pants and as reflected in the dyno sheet.

I have been looking for a intake manifold for a while, the Magnun looks nice but I am not 100% of what average gains would I get from it. Based on my mods could someone please tell me how much power I am looking at improving?, is it worth the money or would you get the Alcohol injection kit instead
Thanks!

For now I am proud to be running the Magnus intake and I have a new Mangus with improved velocity stacks to also test next week.

So you went from Magnus to Mangus uh?...LOL

If you can,it would be nice as said before to test also the HKS Kansai inlet manifold and see how it compares,i think it will do really god.

What is done with your engine DynoFlash (stroker etc...)

Here some piccs of mine HKS mani installed.

I'd be interested in getting my hands on that HKS intake. Can you ship one here from Sweden? They are not in the HKS USA catalog. I can make a call.

Try searching Magnus. There is a post that shows a modded EVO with before and after numbers for the Magnus on a stock turbo. IIRC, the intake mani added about 30 hp through most of the power band.

Thanks for doing the testing Al.

Beautiful engine bay! Did you have to make any modifications to install the Jun intake, like upper intercooler pipe, etc...?
