Build head power increase

Does anyone has build head on 2.0 Motor?
I'd like to know what to expect powerwise from a build head (like buschur has on his website). Heard too many different oppinions ranging from 10HP to 50HP.
If anyone has any solid numbers please respond!!!!

Well there's a very big difference in numbers because there's so many different ways to build a head. Perhaps if you told us what cams (262's still??) you'd run and what stg porting you'd like to get, we could better guestimate the numbers.

Stock turbo on an EVO there is NO way you will see anywhere near 50 whp gains.

Stock turbo on a 350-400 whp engine in an EVO I'd say gains are realistically 15-25 WITH the proper tuning to go along with it. The stock EVO head is pretty darn good out of the box.

Find me a head that will make 50 whp and I will buy all of our heads from the company that did that one.

That's what I assumed but I figured I'd clarify instead of assuming things.

might be a stupid question, but what kind of gains would you expect on a FP White Rabbit or your 20/21G (when it's ready) with a ported/polished and port-matched head, your ported intake manifold, and 60mm throttle body?

I don't know what the cylinder head is going to do on a WR or 21g equipped car, have to dyno them and see when the time comes around.

Our intake and 65 mm throttle body I have dyno'd and they are solid 10 whp increases.

Dave, does your throtle body fits not Magnus intake, and if does would it be reasonable to expect about 10HP gains?

What is your target WHP for the car??? Also what are you doing with the car?? Street Car??? Drag car??? Road course car? You can make 500whp on a stock intake manifold with an upgraded turbo. I'd say once your making about 425-450whp the stock turbo is being pushed to its limits, further then it was ever intended, you may only gain 10whp on an intake manifold using it with the stock turbo, but if yoo had a GT35R which flows a crazy amount of air, the big manifold would help because you have enough air to feed it. I made 370whp@18psi on 93 octane, with a very mild tune, all I have is a a Precision SC61 turbo (smaller then a GT35R), eagle rods, wiseco pistons, 720cc injectors, walbro pump. I dont have any headwork, stock cams, stock manifold and throttle body. If I bumped it to 22psi and put a more aggressive tune, I would have been making 425-450whp easy.

My goal is to make the white rabit run faster and make over 400HP+

So if I can get 15-20HP from magnus manifold with this setup, I'd be happy.

The only concern I have is what people say the spool gets slower with biger intake? I wanted to confirm if that is true or just a BS?

I can't remember were I saw it, but one of the tuner mags did an intake comparrioson on a mild evo. The bigger intakes didn't make much difference. Some even lost power. My opinion is, there are other things you can spend money on they have better bang-for-buck.
Also, I did my head, 1mm over SS valves, port/polish, 3 angle valve seats, etc..
I picked up 10-12hp. I also ported the exhaust and intake manifolds at the same time.

THanks
