I'm in for the group buy also. This bov is exactly what I've been waiting for.

 

I love my forge valve, I can only imagine how nice this new one is going to run.

 

Well, at this point, I have been given the authorization to allow the Group Buy, however, since we are no longer advertising on EvoM for the time being, someone else will need to facilitate this Group Buy and provide the information from each participant to me at the end.

If there are any volunteers to help in this regard, I will try to make it as painless as possible for you!

 

So, what exactly is involved in organizing a group buy? How many people are needed to get a discount? Are there any other evo forums you advertise on that we could organize a group buy?

 

Count me in! I thought the old Forge Diverter valve was great. This one seems even better!

Well the first thing we need to know is how many people do we need and how much are they are going to be?

Im guessing all we really need is someone with a paypal account to receive everyones money. Once we have all the money that designated person can send payment to Forge and they can ship them out accordingly. I have no experience with Group Buys but if noone else will head it up I will do it.

 

Well, tentatively, I would like to see at least 10 people involved, but, the more people, the deeper the discount.

I won't be able to get an exact discount figure until tomorrow, but I'll put the minimum at 10 participants.

As far as organization goes, all I need is someone to collect information/payment and provide it to me at the close of the Group Buy so that I can then distribute the product. Collecting information implies billing info., shipping info, telephone number, e-mail address, and credit card numbers or Paypal info. People paying through Paypal can send the money to me directly or to the organizer.

I already have one offer to facilitate the Group Buy, so I will discuss with that person how this would need to happen and then have them start another thread.

At the moment, we plan to leave for a show next week Wednesday (July 13th)evening, so, this Group Buy would need to be completed by then or upon my return the following Wednesday (July 20th).

Hopefully we'll have more info tomorrow!

 

Furthermore, I would just like to say thanks again to Scott for providing his review of the product and helping us develop a new fitment for this valve. We really appreciate his willingness to help.

If anyone esle has any questions about the product, I would be happy to answer them.

If anyone gets tired of my rantings, however Scott should be able to provide some objective opinions.

Also, for everyone's reference, upon the completion of this Group Buy, if it happens, all future sales of this valve product will need to be directed to our dealers who currently sponsor/advertise on EvoM. We will ALWAYS provide support, service, and information, but our dealers have every ability to provide the product in a timely and professional manner cost-effectively and we support them 100%.
