External Wastegate???

well Last week I bought a turbosmart 35mm External wastegate for my car for super cheap and I am trying to figure out what steps I will have to do to get it to work right. So I was just woundering what Will have to be done to my stock Turbo to switch it over to external use... Maybe welding the flapper shut but im not really sure??? Also will I have to get the wastegate welded to my stock Manifold or Can I stick with my Tubuler manifold and maybe custom mount the gate to my 02 senser housing.. would it work right if I do that?? Keep in mind that my car has Dynoflash ECU, GSC cams, 680cc Injecotrs, AMS Fuel Rail, Intake, Full exhaust, Boost controller EXC but you get the point... Thanks guys!!

Weld you wastegate shut, and get a new manifold.

Not worth it.

Buschur tried using an o2 housing mounted wastegate with the stock turbo and it made it very laggy. Leaving the flapper open disrupts the flow into the turbo.

My recommendation to you is to sell that wastegate and buy some other mod that's worth doing.

Ask a question or search next time before you buy something that you're not sure about it.
