Which oil filter?

Going to do my own oil change this time, is it ok to use oil filters other than mitsu's oem one?

I called the local auto parts store and they have some fram tufguard (i think) oil filter for the evo, is this ok to use?

thanks again, hope this is the appropriate forum to ask this question on

I use the mobile 1 filter. I can't remember if it 108 or 110. But I have not had any problems using it. It is a little less diam than the stock filter. Autozone carries them as well.

Fram is horrible! So stick with OEM, Mobil or Purolator.

OEM or K&N. Engine runs great with both.
