I know Roby is out of stock on the VIII and is not expecting more, I don't know about ricart, but from what I've heard, I shouldn't trust them either.

There's no service records of the car being repaired prior to my purchase, and basically it'll be my words against thiers.

I've filed a complaint against the dealership to Mitsubishi Motors USA. Once I secure a buy back, I'll then explore my options for redemption against the dealership.
I would certainly point out those threads on the columbus DSM board to the district rep and work from there.

It's clear the dealer beat the crap out of the car before selling it as new.

good luck..

Not true. My buddy had his new 02 Eclipse GT bought back after COUNTLESS fights with corporate regarding the winter fuel issue. (car would run fine, let it rest for about an hour, come back, it would die...this was replicated on several dealer GTs)

Regardless, the cars that are bought back are slapped with a big orange NOT FOR SALE sticker and the VIN is blacklisted. If Mitsu strips and sells parts I don't know, but they will NOT sell the car as is.

look, I don't want any cross-board bashing here. The guys at columbusdsm just got small taste of the story and didn't know the whole picture.

Thank you chris for helping out.

Thats odd... somebody in columbus has an MR Block with a spun bearing... where could that've come from

Look at this ****s profile

Now I could've sworn they told me this block was getting shipped back to japan for further investigation....

Are these guys really this ignorant to think that they can get away with this kinda ****?

Well some good news finaly.

I got the car back today and it's running great. I'm still going to talk to the regional rep. But it looks like they finally got it right.

Amazing Story...take it to Dave, let him check out the whole car personally and decide whether you want the mods installed or not....if somethings wrong file a law suit. Interesting Story, keep the news comin if somethin goes wrong. Good Luck.

So yesterday I sprung a tranny leak on the engine speed sensor...

I wonder if they'll ever get it right.
