Ok Ive been having alot of problems with my tranny lately. Like my car not wanting to go into 2nd at all, and I also have some kind of clear fluid leaking from under my car new the tranny. I have replaced the clutch with a ACT.
Well now on my way to work my shifter just all of a sudden locked on me. I have to struggle with it to put it in gear and even when it is in gear it looks like if its in the wrong place. Whats going on with my car? Im dropping it off tomorrow to get my 2nd gear fixed, but why is my shifter stuck now?

just curious but is this only happening when shifting at high rpm? Did you adjust your clutch pedal?

 

Everything with clutch and shifting was fine until about 1 hour ago while driving to work. I've been drving the car for about a week now but barely. Thats why im confused , because besides my car not going in 2nd (because a synchro issue) that was the only problem I was having.

 

Anyone ??

 

Sounds like a possible problem between the tranny itself and the actual shifter. Do you have any shifter bushings, perhaps brass ones?
