It's definitely for the 'bling-factor'. If he was going to do it right he should at least chrome both turbos and add some blue cold-cathodes to show em off.

i read about a twin turbo sti in turbo magazine... put out 500hp. two smaller turbos or a mod to spool this faster and it would be a decent setup. ams tuned gt35r kit blows this out of the water tho

There is a shop in AZ somewhere that does TT kits on all Suby's. Gotta remember though that they're boxer engines, not inlines. With 2 pistons on each side of the engine opposing each other, a TT kit actually makes sense. The one they had for the EJ25 SOHC used like two T15's that supposedly made about 12lbs of boost each and had practically zero lag.

Not really, look at skyline, supra both are I6 and RX7, it work well on them..

Here in AZ there is a Scoobie shop that adds a supercharger to the turbo'd engine. There is no lag. It's pretty sweet to look at. It somehow shuts off the supercharger at a certain point and the turbo kicks in. Don't ask me how it works because I have no idea.

Actualy its works pretty good, like I said in the auction it hits 20psi by 4000rpm. I pulled on a bolton 03 cobra on the highway up to 130mph with this at 20psi untuned on the way to the track for the AMS midwest mayhem event.

I love it how people say this wont work, but APEX-I has a twin turbo Integra setup the same exact way running mid 8 second passes.

FYI - at 20psi with a blown clutch that I was testing for quartermaster it went 11.8 at 117mph with a crap 1.8 60' due to no vht on the ground at the AMS midwest mayhem event.
