I have a blue emanage on my Evo, and haven't had any problems at all. I am running the latest firmware/software versions and have been upgrading for 2 years now. The only way to use one of these units is to utilize all available resources such as the Yahoo group and Mohd's site. I find real world information that you get in a users group much more relavant than anything you could get from a manufacturer. Do you think Greddy would ever put out something to tell us e-blue owners how to upgrade to e-gold? Of course not, yet my e-blue thinks and acts like an e-gold.

I don't want to downplay your customer service issue, as it is an important one (one that Greddy is known for too). But for me the e-manage has done everything I've asked of it and more. Perhaps I am more hands-on than some, so the customer service side of it doesn't bother me a bit. I forget sometimes that a lot of the people on this forum buying stuff aren't into tinkering to make something work or do more than it was intended. I wouldn't have it any other way.

 

so would you guys do the upgrade to the new one (black)? or keep the old (blue)

 

30 k miles on my blue, and no fried coilpacks (keeping my fingers crossed) but if it was going to happen it would have by now... I am thinking about going to the ultimate after I see some results from the yahoo group form others that have tried it....
