need help understanding how boost is controlled
I need help understanding how boost is controllled on the evo's. I used to have a gallant vr-4, so I am used to the simple use of a MBC.
Now, I have a couple of things I bought for the evo that I have not installed yet.
I have the buschur deluxe upper intercooler pipe kit with the deluxe FMIC and the xede engine computer.
What controls the boost? The xede through the EBC? If so, where does it get the readings for boost?
The reason why I am asking is that, in the buschur pipe, there is a hole with threads but no nipple. According to the seller, it was used with a manual boost controller. Do I need that nipple with the xede or should I seal it up.
Also, I want to buy dejon tool intake pipe. Do I need air nipple on the intake pipe?
