has anyone had a personal experience on when the evo maf starts to max out????? i thought i have heard 3000hz but maybe i'm wrong.
tonight i was reading 2600hz on 25psi so i'm just curious on what anyone elses experiences were???? thanks

 

I don't think the MAF sensor could max out. It's just a device that measures the vortex.

if anything maxes out, it'll be your piping, intake throttle body, engine, fuel rail, fuel pump, injectors.

that's just what I think.

 

Yes it will start to skip counts. Sooner or later it will not read anything useful. Im sure it starts skipping counts around the 2500 hertz mark but its still perfectly fine. I have gotten mine to 2850 hertz or so at 25.5 psi and it still runs fine I will be running 30psi very shortly so I am guessing I should pass the 3000 mark so Ill find out how it acts.
