Blitz DD BOV Problems

Hey I have a Blitz DD bov and i think it is the reason why the car stops or stalls at times. Does anybody else have this bov or have the same problems? Also im thinking about changing to the HKS ssq bov, any suggestions?

Any open atmosphere BOV is going to create the same problems you are experiencing (Including HKS SSQ). The only way you can run an open atmos BOV is by getting the HKS EIDS which will solve the stalling but is also rumored to create other problems with, turbo, throttle response, boost etc.... the only way to prevent these is just running a recirculating bov. try APS its works great for me.

I have a blitz bov, and having the same issues GT7Evo has, I changed back to stock bov. It is ugly though.

By the way, I stopped stalling for a while, until I installed K&N typhoon intake. Stalling, and crazy idle issues. Ordered HKS EIDS. See how that goes. Will keep you updated.

BTW, if I decide to keep blitz bov, I need a new spring to tune my evo because it is only good for ~ 18psi. Where can I get a upgraded spring for blitz bov? Anyone?

Just curious ... how much boost are you running with your APS bov? Is APS bov adjustable?

Right now, it is about 100 deg F in Kansas City metro area. Are you saying that above 21 psi in hot weather is dangerous? Please elaborate a little more.

Hey "Evo tornado" when you threw that intake on if you do not have a (Air & Fuel Controller) "AFC" your engine is takin in way to much air and no fuel is going in before you throw an intake on you need and new fuel pump, and an air and fuel controller, or just put the pump on and go get an Ecotech tune that will fix all problems.

also, the EIDS will only solve open atmosphere idle problems not (air and fuel problems which you are experiencing now)
