I have a tunning selection question. Given I have the budget for only one at a time which should I do.

Should I get the TME turbo with Head studs and fuel pump and put that in with flash tune.

OR

Gruppe-s Power package with with Buddyclub 264/272 cams, Helix cam gears, Fuel Pump, head studs and injectors.

I think the prices will be about the same although installation of the turbo will be less than the power package. Which one would be better, mechanics or boost?

Overall drivability is key. Which is why I want to stick with a stock turbo type setup and I guess the TME is just as good with the benefits of being slightly larger with a quicker spool.

Current mods for beginning stats 2003 Evo with stock internals.

My vote is for the TME and tune.

 

i met this dude that has the TME turbo and he said that it really didt change anything....but ive herd cams help more...plus they sound badass

 

Def. think Cams would add more HP initially but going with the TME first all mods there after would show bettter spool and HP. Plus this guy has an 03 which means 9.8T , your friend might have had an 05, which would mean he wouldve only experienced the better spool.

 

Well I was originaly thinking about the WR turbo. Seems like a mixed bag. It looks like it shows gains but not the gains people want. But then a gain a modified TME turbo making over 300-350whp is good enough for me. But it is more expensive.

Anyone else?
